Terms of use
OmniAccess is a free tool that helps you add alt-text to images in PowerPoint and PDF files. By using it, you agree to these terms.
AI suggestions are only suggestions
OmniAccess can propose image descriptions generated by an AI model. These suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading — especially for charts, formulas, and discipline-specific material. They are a starting point, not a finished description.
You are responsible for every description you save. Review each suggestion and edit or replace it wherever it is inaccurate or inappropriate for your audience. The annotations in the file you download are your content, not ours, and you are solely responsible for their accuracy and for any consequences of publishing or distributing them.
Your files
Your documents are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. Only individual images are sent for AI description (see the privacy note). You must have the right to process the files you upload; do not use OmniAccess on material you are not permitted to use.
No warranty
OmniAccess is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — including fitness for a particular purpose, accessibility-compliance outcomes (e.g. WCAG, Section 508, EAA), or uninterrupted availability. Always verify the output file in your own tools before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of OmniAccess is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the tool or of files produced with it, including lost data, claims related to the content of annotations, or compliance findings.
Fair use of the service
AI suggestions are rate-limited and the service may be paused or changed at any time. Do not attempt to circumvent the limits or use the AI endpoint for anything other than describing images you are annotating.
