Privacy note
Your files never leave your browser
OmniAccess opens, edits, and rebuilds your PPTX/PDF entirely on your device. The document itself is never uploaded to our servers and we keep no copy of it.
What is sent for AI suggestions
When you request an AI description, the individual image(and nothing else from your document) is sent to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI's API to generate the suggestion. We do not store the image or the suggestion; OpenAI processes API data under its API data policy. If an image is sensitive, mark it decorative or write the description yourself — no AI request is made unless one is needed.
What stays on your device
Descriptions you save are kept in your browser's localStorage (keyed by an image fingerprint) so re-uploading a deck can pre-fill them. They are never sent anywhere. You can remove them at any time with the “Clear them” link on the upload screen, and a light/dark theme preference is stored the same way.
Technical data
To prevent abuse, your IP address is used for short-lived rate limiting of the AI endpoint (processed via Upstash Redis). We log basic technical information about AI requests — status, token counts, and timing, but never the image or its description. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.
